A/W 09/10 Top 10 at 10

If you're only going to buy 10 items for your A/W wardrobe may i suggest a couple of my fav trends/items..

10.) A stud machine and studs... for obvious reasons, mainly being STUDDING. Jump on the stud wagon and punk them boots, jackets and leathers up. Would be cheaper than buying all new items of clothing ready studded. You can even buy studs that can be manually inserted so don't be lazy and Ebay it now.

9.) A scarf either long enough to work layers over your head etc, or a continuous looped scarf, either way go chunky. Less skin more scarf. This way save on a hat, its an economic buy.

8.) Long gloves... NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH PROM GLOVES... PLEASE AVOID SATINS. Only consider leather, if not then suede, if you really can't do either of those then black lace but they must be long. Some scrunching is ideal :)

7.) Sticking with accessories, the hot appears to be the curtain rope and tassel belt. Make your own, easy peezy.

6.) One arm or shoulder dress. Beware, must do it in futuristic style, not for the fearful.

5.) As i have been told in many magazine, shorts are cool this winter. Sounds silly but I like! Try khakhi, orange, rust, red or if your bonkers... LEATHER AND STUDS!

4.) Autumn florals. In dress form ala Erdem.

3.) Every winter requires a new coat and Marc Jacobs knows what this winter requires... 80's power shoulder colour pop.

2.) Louis Vuitton pretty pink Chiffon paper bag / ruffle / ruched dresses. Love 'em.

1.) D&G black lace dress. I know lace was last A/W but this dress has more power. Cannot find a pic online ATM but one will follow.

I thank you

I recommend...

...the Jaeger sale! It's online and it's not too bad. Gotta love the bags. I can't believe the Talitha fringed bag is down to 200 quid!! I wanted it so much.

Now all i need is someone to buy it for me?

I also recommend a shell suits, i am determined that one year in the near future they will be in (if for just a very short time) I have seen a couple on ebay dead cheap, im considering it.

I would NOT recommend looking forward to Autumn/Winter fashion trends as it's highly disappointing.. just a copy of last year swapping tartan for a bit of houndstooth and studs replacing fringing... big whoop. However, looking forward to buying some curtain tassels and seeing what i can come up with.

Look out for my new range of Handmuffs coming out in the Autumn, I shall be designing some exclusive for lunacy boutique!

Peace xoxo

Busy bee

I know it's been ages since i last wrote but i've been so busy with looking for a job and 5 weeks of jury service it slipped my mind.

Firstly i wanna show my appreciation for the TOPSHOP SALE, for putting the REKO dresses in. Thank you, i already had the eiffel tower one, i would have liked the cherry one (very Katy Perry) but instead i got the Hawaii floral button one. LOVE IT!! I'm all for REKO as they have refreshing prints, simple designs that are very flattering and are comfortable to move around in, and all in all are very well made :D

Right, onto the sewing part... i have been a very busy bee.. I've probably made 20 odd dresses etc since i last came on.. here is a little taster of one dress. It's PPQ inspired, but also a bit nautical meets victorian. It's not a clear picture but its got an oversized white collar with a lace bow with a broach detail. It's blue chiffon with a sateen lining. And yes, i did make a pair of Rodarte leggings, loss of respect to those who do not know of them!!!

Over the next day or so i intend on making a white/cream grecian dress, i'm feeling it right now.

In other news, i am a little dissapointed in the standard of acid wash jeans around Swansea.. the only pair i saw were in Topshop and look rubbish on!! SHAME ON YOU SWANSEA
